Dynamic Health International is an active pioneer in research and Development of herbal products for use in the health systems. The company was founded by a medical doctor Chidi Ezeihu, who happened to have been born into a background that is vast with the knowledge of Tropical Medicinal Herbs, before proceeding for a medical career in the University of Nigeria . DHI is vast in research and scientific evaluation of traditional African Herbal remedies in order to ensure an appropriate balance between efficacy and side effects. This has been a reference point to DHI in researching and formulation of herbal remedies for use in the health system.

Medicinal potential of West African tropical rainforest are enormous and somewhat unknown to the western world. Ethno botanical clues (Traditional uses) have been helpful in drug discovery and has an added advantage of serving as a pre-existing clinical trials, hence the value of herbal knowledge of the tropical rainforest cannot be over emphased. DHI is concerned with providing phytomedicinal Herbal remedies in the forms closely approximated by nature. DHI formulates their herbal blends from extracts of the relevant herbs, vegetables, fruits, flowers and roots of various medicinal plants of the tropical rainforest. We believe in synergistic effects of different plant anti-oxidants with one another, and the health benefits offered by different phytochemicals such as plant sterols/phythoestrogen. We therefore present our herbal formulas as mixtures of whole plant extracts, not isolated ingredients. Cell-mediated immunity plays an active role in protecting the body against the onslaught of cancer, slow growing bacteria, fungal infections and some viral infections.

In cell mediated immunity, T-cell (T lymphocytes) are the coordinators of immune response, while the B-cells (B – lymphocytes), in response to instructions from the T – cells produce millions of antibodies that engage the antigens (cancer cells, viruses, bacteria, fungal) in a one to one battle forming antigen – antibody complexes.

These Antibodies are dare – devils that do not give a damn whether they live or die. They attack infective agents forming antigen antibody complexes and even inform macrophages, etc to eat up the antigen - antibody complexes. Macrophages could be regarded as very big bellied soldiers that swallow up antigen antibody complexes – thus eliminating disease causing, bacteria, viruses, etc. from our body. Results of studies with our products salvage A, Salvage B, Salvage P, etc have demonstrated support of the immune system, increased metabolism, cardiovascular friendly, etc.

We believe in synergistic effects of different plant anti-oxidants and essential phytochemicals to potentiate optimal health. In this anti-oxidant defense systems the role of carotenoids, tocopherols, thiols, etc have been amply demonstrated in related researches. Lutein, Lycopene  (and their oxidative metabolites), Alpha Tocopherol, Beta Carotene, have all shown to be involved in chemoprevention. The essential phytochemical, plant sterol play very big roles to support optimal  health in the body. Plant Sterols (being very similar to cholesterol) competively inhibits cholesterol absorption from the diets. This cardiovascular friendly activity of plant sterols is much appreciated in individuals that absorb much of their cholesterol from the diet and synthesise small in the liver.

Besides the plant sterols are membrane proteins, and have a number of biological actions in the body which supports good health. They provide also the building blocks the production of glucocorticoids (for glucose metabolism), mineralocorticoid, sex hormones, bile salts, Etc. Such herbal cocktails usually show adverse effect in the body especially the liver, often elevating the liver enzymes particularly Alkaline Phosphatase. Elevation of aspartate transaminase and alanine Transaminase enzymes were also noticeable with such herbal cocktails following long term usage. In the course of our research the long term effect of our herbal products on the kidney functions were studied. Those formulas that have toxic effect an the kidney function – elevating Creatine and Urea were excluded from long term uses.
