Salvage ATM
Use of Salvage A TM increase over all metabolism and positively affects fat
metabolism.
Clinically, Salvage supplementation has resulted:
- Decrease in Triglyceride
- Reduction in total Cholesterol
- Reduction in LDL cholesterol
- Increase in HDL Cholesterol especially where people are committed to responsible dieting (avoiding high glycemic index carbohydrate), and exercise
We have recorded a 75% increase in HDL cholesterol within 6 months of use of Salvage A in a subject.
A diet that would lower both triglyceride (eg fats carried in blood, which are necessary but when excessive causes serious cardiovascular damage) and LDL (Low density lipoprotein), the so called bad cholesterol is desirable. By using the right diet it is actually possible to increase the sizes of the LDL particles, thereby limiting the ease with which these could fit under the blood vessel lining, thus forestalling clogging and development of plaques in the arteries .
A blood work shows
- High Triglyceride
- High Bad Cholesterol
- Small LDL particle
Dr. Arthur Agatson, M.D. referred to as the triple threat, in his book the The South Beach Diet. Let me quickly add here that any diet supplement that can increase the particle sizes of the LDL and HDL, must be able to do so at the level of protein synthesis, so as to affect lipoprotein production. This happens at the cellular level. A diet supplement that can achieve this must be able to act at the Ribosomal level to affect protein synthesis and fat metabolism.
Plant Sterols are components of membrane proteins – Red blood cells, etc. , use of Salvage A have resulted to Increase Hemoglobin, Increase Red Cell count, Increase White blood Cell & increased T Cell count. We have also documented Increased Red Cell size, without compromising the Red Cell Morphology. In the blood make work tested below, baseline-MCV (Mean Cell Volume) is 95.1 FL (Fento Litres) Two Months of Salvage A herbal supplement resulted in a record of 95.5 FL (besides increased Hemoglobin, red cell count and Hematocrit.
In antoher patients, we have recorded MCV of a supranormal value of 98.0FL (range 79.0-97.0) within 31 months of using Salvage A.
This patient’s MCV increased further to 100.2 during bone marrow biopsy and the report still stated RBC morphology is within normal limits.
There is also always decreased PCO2 & increased PO2 during Salvage A supplementation.
Therefore I strongly suspect that use of Salvage A herbal cocktail could be on way of increasing cholesterol particle sizes (LDL and HDL) alike, if the affect on Red Blood Cell is the same on the other cells of the body, such as lipoproteins.
Plant phytosterols are natural cholesterol-like substances produced by plants. Tens of different phytosterols have been discovered such as sitosterols, campesterol, stigmasterol. Sterols have larger molecules than cholesterol, making them less absorbable in the GIT.
Humans absorb 20-80% of dietary cholesterol but can only absorb 1.5 – 5.0% of plant sterols.
Blood cholesterol levels are subject to both dietary cholesterol intake and cholesterol synthesized by the liver.
People who absorb a significant amount of dietary cholesterol and synthesise aonly a small amount in the liver exhibit most marked beniefit from dietary plant sterol intake.
Research has shown by giving some people 24gr a day of sterol enriched spreads (providing 2-3 fr of sterols) total cholesterol fell by 13% and LDL levels reduce by 20%
The use of pharmaceutical statin drugs is more effective in normalizing cholesterol level, but numerous studies indicate that sterols offer futher benefit beyond the use of statins alone .
Sterols serve as memebrane componets, especially in the plasma membrane of red blood cells, and in the myelinated nerve cells.
Another important function of sterols is to serve as a raw material for production of other steroids:
- sex hormone
- adrenocorticoid hormones
- mineralocorticoid
- glucocorticoids
- bile salts
- other hormones. TSH/T3/T4
*Support to production of sex hormone as a result of sterol intake may offer the
explanation to increased erection in the males, and break in frigidity in females while on
Salvage A supplementation. It may also explain the benefits to PMS in menopausal females.
- mineralcorticoids regulate the contentration of ions ( mainly sodium & potassium)
- glucocorticoids control carbohydrate metabolism
Aldosterone is ones of the most important mineralcorticoids. Increased secretion of aldosterone enhances the re-absorption of (Sodium and Chloride) ions.
We have documented in subject very slight increase in sodium and chloride ion during Salvage A supplementation as you will see below.
Cortisol (major glucocorticoid) functions to increase the glucose and glycogen concentration in the body stores. This is done at the expense of fats from body stores and amino acids. * Note that type II diabetics cannot store and utilize glucose effectively.
Bile Salts Emulsify all kinks of lipids, and are essential in the digestion of fat. We have documented increase bile salt production (66.67%) while Salvage A Supplementation. The table table (66.67%)
We have thus seen other advantages of the use of plant sterols over pharmacological statins drugs. Also statins cause a reversible increase in liver enzyme, Salvage A intake actually supports maintenance of normal liver enzyme activity.
* The patient whose clinical data is presented has baseline liver enzymes on the higher sides. 2 months of usage of salvage A resulted in very slight reduction in alkaline phosphatase enzyme, but a 30.44% reduction in aspertate transaminase enzyme, and 5.88% reduction in Alanine transaminase enzyme. This support in maintaining normal Liver enzyme is much appreciated in the 8 HIV/AIDS patients analysed in HIV/AIDS beneficiaries of Salvage A and Salvage B.
- Increased albumin production (good)
- Increased albumin/globulin (good)
- Increased total bilirubin (good for fat digestion)
Notice also the slight reduction in the blood glucose for this subject. Also on Type – 2 diabetic on insulin, using Salvage A along with her insulin noticed vast improvement. The Hemoglobin 1c (glycosylated hemoglobin) level dropped from 9.7 down to 7.1 in three months. Her Eye doctor noticed improved visual acuity. However we caution that you do not abandon your insulin to use Salvage A alone for you diabetics. (Results vary).
We therefore Summarize Health Benefits of Using Salvage A herbal Supplements:
In Healthy Subjects
Note that we emphasized one of the many benefits of plant sterols in the body is to provide building block for steroid hormones, bile salts, etc steroid hormones include
Let us therefore see Salvage ‘A’ (because of content of plant sterols) as a growth hormone releaser:
Understanding Growth Hormone Learning Center:
Excellent Adjuvant to Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy
Salvage `A' quickly activates adaptive (cellular) immunity. Blood test reveal increased haemoglobin, lymphocyte and platelet count even in patient who are on cytotoxic drugs. Besides, its usage in chemotherapy patients counters alopecia a side effect of chemotherapy, overall Salvage `A' increases the quality of life of cancer patience.
A second to none usage in Immuno-Compromised Patient- HIV/AIDS.
Growth Hormone (GH), Human Growth Hormone (HGI-1), or Somatotropin is secreted by the anterior pituitary. Growth hormone acts via on intermediary substance Somatomedin. It stimulates cell growth both for number and size. It is useful in childhood pituitary insufficiency.
Normal concentration of growth hormone in the plasma of an adult is 3 millimicrograms per millilitre, and in the child 5 millimicrograms per millilitre. These values can increases up to 50 millimicrogram/ml, especially after depletion of body stores of protein or carbohydrate. State of nutrition and stress (starvation, hypoglycemia, exercise, excitement, trauma) influences the rate of secretion of GH.
(b) Metabolic Effects of GH: besides its specific effects on cell growth (number and size), growth hormone has many generalized metabolic effects as well including especially;
(i) Increased rate of protein synthesis in all cells of the body
(ii) Increased mobilization of fatty acids from adipose tissue, and
increased use of the fatty acids for energy.
(iii) Decreased rate of glucose utilization throughout the body.
In effect, growth hormone enhances the body protein, uses up the fat stores and conserves carbohydrates.
(c) Stimulation of Growth of cartilage and bone - role of somatomedin Growth Hormone (GH) or Somatotrophic Hormone (SH) Sornatotropin, is a protein molecule containing 191 amino acid in a single strand, with a molecular weight 22,005.
It promotes both increases sizes of cells and increased mitosis with development of increased numbers of cells. Growth Hormone indirectly stimulates cell growth by causing several small proteins collectively called Somatomedin to be formed in liver, and perhaps the muscles and kidneys. Somatomedin in turn acts directly on the cartilage and bone to promote their growth. Somatomedini is required for deposition of chondroitin sulfate and collagen, both of which are necessary for growth of the cartilage and bone.
(d) Role of Growth Hormone in Promoting Protein Deposition
(i) Enhancement of Amino Acid transport through the cell membranes: Growth hormone directly enhances transport of some (if not most) amino acid through the cell membrane into the cell, hence increasing protein synthesis. This control of amino acid transport is similar to the effect of insulin in controlling glucose transport through the membrane.
(ii) Enhancement of Protein synthesis by the Ribosomes: Even when amino acids are not increased inside the cells, growth hormone acts directly on the ribosomes making them produce great number of protein molecules.
(iii Increases Formation of RNA: Over prolonged periods of time, growth hormone also stimulates the transcription process in the nucleus, causing formation of increased quantities of RNA. This then promotes protein synthesis and also promotes growth if sufficient energy, amino acids, vitamins and other necessities for growth are available.
(iv) Decreased Catabolism of Protein and Amino Acid: Besides increased protein synthesis, growth hormone leads to decrease in the breakdown of cell protein. Growth hormone mobilizes large quantities of free fatty acids from the adipose tissue, and these are used to supply most of the energy need of the body cells, thus acting as a "protein sparer". This easy availability of fats for energy also acts as "Carbohydrate sparer," thereby decreasing the necessity to use proteins for gluconeogenesis - another factor that accounts for reduced protein catabolism.
Summarily Growth Hormone enhanced most amino acid uptake and protein synthesis by cells, while at the same time reducing the breakdown of protein.
(e) Effects of Growth Hormone in Enhancing Fat Utilization for Energy: Growth hormone causes release of fatty acids from adipose tissue, and therefore increases the fatty acid concentration in the body fluids. Besides in the tissues it enhances the conversion of fatty acids to acetylcoA, and subsequent utilization of acetylcoA for energy. Therefore, under the influence of Salvage A (a growth hormone releasing agent), fat is utilized for energy in preference to both carbohydrate and proteins.
Some school of thought regard this fat mobilization effect of growth hormone (and growth hormone releasers as Salvage A) to be its most important function and have also thought the protein-sparing effect to be the major factor that promotes protein deposition and growth. Whereas growth hormone (and growth hormone releasers e.g. [Salvage A] mobilization of fat requires hours to occur, however enhancement of cellular protein synthesis (plasma proteins inclusive) can begin in less than a minute under the influence of growth hormone/growth hormone releasing substances e.g. Salvage 'A'.
Ketogenic Effect of Growth Hormone and GH Releasing Substances e.g. Salvage `A'
Under the influence of Growth Hormone, fat mobilization could be so great that excessive quantities of a cetoacetic acid are formed by the liver and are released into the body fluid, thus causing ketosis.
The deduction here has a bariatric application. Therefore in weight loss management, it is now understood how growth hormone (and growth hormone releasing substance e.g SALVAGE 'A') could help a body be quickly in Ketosis, hence initiating weight loss quickly. It also explains the reason why some people could take a walk barefooted in winter once they have taken salvage. This is because the fat mobilization by Salvage 'A' from the adipose tissue is providing enough heat energy from metabolism of tile ketones so formed.
However excessive mobilization of fat from adipose tissue also frequently causes a fatty liver. Very obese patients on Salvage 'A' are therefore advised to keep taking the minimal dosage from the on set. This will enable fat mobilization to be gradual from the adipose tissue to the liver.
